Digital activation for Yas Island & Yas Mall Hub

We are living in the digital age, where digital technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. We can’t go a day without using our smartphones and applications like Facebook, Instagram, and more. In light of this, Yas Island reached out to Lava Brands for a creative brand activation to promote their brand, and we decided to harness the power of digital technology. Through this, we could offer a more immersive experience of Yas Island, engaging audiences in a more memorable way than traditional marketing methods. This led to the creation of the Yas Island & Yas Limo Brand Activation.

The concept for the activation centered around a highly interactive experience. We designed a multi-functional activation station that incorporated modern digital experiences, seamlessly blending physical presence with the digital world.

Interactive Features

1. Selfie Wall

Selfies have become a massive part of our social media culture, and we wanted to tap into this phenomenon with the first screen of our activation — the Selfie Wall. Visitors could instantly snap a selfie against a unique background featuring iconic landmarks from Yas Island (Ferrari World, Yas Marina Circuit, Water World, Yas Beach, etc.). They could then customize their selfies with pre-built digital elements and share their photos on social media using the hashtag #YasIsland for a chance to win exciting prizes or send it directly to their email inbox.

2. Interactive Puzzle Game

To appeal to both adults and children, we incorporated an interactive puzzle game as the second wall. The game showcased stunning images of Yas Island’s assets. There were two levels of difficulty: an easy one for kids and a more challenging version for adults. Those who completed the game within the top ten scores won instant prizes, making it an engaging and rewarding experience. This game was designed to highlight Yas Island as a fun and exciting place for the entire family.

3. Interactive Information Wall

The third wall served as an informative guide to Yas Island, offering detailed information about each of its iconic attractions. The wall featured an interactive map with descriptions, working hours, fun facts, images, and videos in both Arabic and English. Visitors could engage with this content and learn about the wonders of Yas Island, from its world-class theme parks to its beautiful beaches and luxury hotels.
